In the west bank city of Bil'in, located about 5 km east of the green line, the people living there have become aa symbol on civil disobediance and solidarity in the intifada. victim of the Israeli apartheid, or as the west tries to call it 'security' wall, the occupants each friday stage a peaceful protest agaisnt the wallthat is cutting them off from their livlehood. They, however, are subject to brutal retaliations by the IDF (Israeli.defense.force), they are beaten, shot with tear gas, live ammunition, rubber bullets, stun grenades, sound bombs that can liqufy tour organs. demonstraters are often arbratrailly arrested, despite laws prohibbiting this in the geneva conventions, but as ronald reagan used to say "facts are stupid things" the Idf has also tried to prevent both forign and Isralei demonstraters from reaching the 'clash' points.
so i ask you this why, when will the world open their eyes and see the horrendous human rights violations occuring and that has been occuring for nearly half a century in the occupied territories, when iraq was accused to have wmd's they were embargoed and bombed, but when israel has broken nearly eveery geneva convention and fails to comply with even one U.N. resolution they are excused and allowed to kill inocents, so i ask you once again, when will it end.
