Some thoughts on this article ?

Personally, I think that if these kinds of gatherings and organistations exist in public pretty much, and the respective governments know about it, I think it's rather awfull that nothing is done about it. It'd probably upset a lot of the liberal elite to have to do something serious, but surely a little action would be for the good of everyone ?

Looks like a "weird" site to me. It seems implausible that real "terrorists" would openly operate in the manner described.

I think this article shows the "bias" of the site pretty well -- Roots of Islamic Terrorism: How Communists Helped Fundamentalists (http://www.globalpolitician.com/articleshow.asp?ID=280&cid=11&sid=64) -- I particularly liked this....

We know that not every political movement has created a terrorist splinter group, or served as an excuse for terrorism. Actually, terrorism has been the favourite method of extreme socialists only - both of the (left-wing) international, and the (right-wing) national varieties. Since the Jacobins of the French revolution held a "Reign of Terror" in 1794, the international socialists (communists) and national socialists (fascists) have shared a common tendency to use terrorism.
They must consider a lot of people "extreme socialists."

The latter article is so ridiculous, that I wouldn't belive anything coming from this site. I don't know where they're information is coming from but the Islamist movement if Afghanistan in Pakistan was supported by the US and its allies, not the USSR.
By 1995 the Soviet union was no more, therefore, Russian selling arms to the taliban, which mostlikely never happened in the first place, wouldn't be an example of socialist supporting Islamist.
