Hmm. I like how it is put in at the very bottom sneaky eh? It make's it look like they are unimportant. It says the are the Opposition, so that means they hold the second largest numbers of seats does it not? If so that shows that the French people have a strong left leaning. I remeber when Chirac was elected there was strong pro Right and anti-Right. It is wierd. France is both extremes at once, and because of that the moderates get in. Correct me if I am wrong, I am just saying my conclusions of French Politics adn I am always looking to learn. This could be a good sign that they are being mentioned for the democratic socialists. One more nation where blood need not be spilt is a great victory.

Hasta la victoria siempre! Vive un communiste France!

the French Communists are still pretty big in France. they sometimes rule in coalition with the centre left Socialists. they have too many Stalinists to make themselves party that has a shot of getting in national power though.

The pcf (french communist party) is a fucked up party. An old, dead party who is less and less popular.
The true communists parties in france are "lutte ouvrière" and "la ligue communiste révolutionnaire". They are both trotskyist.

The opposition in france are mostly the socialists but they had the power during 5 years (with the green party and the pcf) *and they did exactly the same thing that the right wingers.

In fact a lot of politicians in france are just a bunch of parasites and the people of the pcf are too.

I think thats the problem in france. TThe left is divided in very many fractions.

In France, all politicians are parasites, Arlette Laguillier (Lutte Ouvriere) as the others !!!
In fact, her party, which is troskist (in theory), is directed by a great CEO who exploit his workers. This party handle us as the others.

Loïc, could you confirm what i say?

That's wrong. The French Communist PArty has nothing to do with Stalinism. They are a reform Communist Party like the PDS (formaly SED) in Germany.

i didn't say they were Stalinists, but they need to get rid of any Stalinists they still have. they were a Moscow ally until the Soviet Unions' collapse. its natural they'll still have some Stalinists left in the party.

Madahvikia you are right, lutte ouvrière is directed by Robert Barcia who is a ceo. Moreover, lutte ouvrière seems to be a really secret organization and it's a reason to be suspicious. But in my opinion lutte ouvrière is a true communist party. It's only the leaders of the party who are corrupt, not the militants.

I think that the "ligue communiste révolutionnaire" is a more "serious" party.
It's a really active party who is present in a lot of demonstrations against fascism, …

Anyway these two parties should merge into one to be more efficient.
