I don't think the stuff a good parody of post-modernists pieces. I mean I hate post-modernism as much as the next guy but it's just not convincing because within the first paragraph it’s normally contradicted itself, Which isn’t something you’d expect in a Foucault piece

eh, someone actually got a paper generated with it published in a "respecable" journal :P So evidently it convinced the dolts there.

What is sad is that there are papers that really are this bad out there. In fact, probably a good percent are really terrible stumbling rants with horrible misreadings of author after author.
The problem is that people who haven't studied these areas can't tell the difference between a real work in the area and a bad work and a parody. But, this is hardly just limited to postmodernism and computer science. In fact, Steven Pinker says the same thing of Marxist-sociology, in one of his books he strings a bunch of marxist terms together and mocks it in a simpleton way. Anything that is technical can be parodied and many people won't be able to see the difference and that hardly means the entire genre should be ridiculed just because most people don't understand it..
