Anyone know how to physicaly make hardcover books? Like, what type of glue to use, what kind of paper, what size to make a nice small one, etc etc?

Don't bother trying. Book binding is an art, go find a bookbinder to do it for you. They're not as expensive as you'd think.

A cheap book binder...? Kinkos! :P

Here's an interesting tutorial (http://www.cs.uiowa.edu/~jones/book/) on it, though I haven't tried this first hand. My neighbor once tried it, and it looked rather difficult.

Here is a long list of links that may or may not help:

Some notes on it (http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/graeme_birchall/HTM_BIND.HTM)

You could always get your book published at http://lulu.com/ for free and just order a copy for yourself. I'm not sure how cheap it would be though.
