These are from a friend of mine:
Socialist government is good. I think it is a great idea, but... I don't think the people are ready for it because they are so used to a different kind of government and socialism is so different.
Communism - I believe the same thing to a higher level. Especially because of the bad rap it has gotten from Russia and stuff.
Anarchism - I don't know that much about it.
The way people think and feel is too diverse to be controlled by society.
Long Live Capitalism.

Of course they're not. Amerikkka is a bourgeois consumer society where everyone buys and sells products that for the most part are not made here. Every Amerikkkan is the same in this respect. In this way capitalism controls all of our lives.

Hello.

It depends to which part of the world your friend is referring to and whether it is done by reform or revolution. Until the material conditions are correct and class conciousness is higher, it will not come. When the people are sick of the 'not so different' bourgeois government then it will come.
Communism - I believe the same thing to a higher level. Especially because of the bad rap it has gotten from Russia and stuff.
You are correct the majority of the world is not ready for communism, what's your point?
Anarchism - I don't know that much about it.
Perhaps you should read, this forum is a rich resource of information, use the 'search' utility.

If you think the 'left' try to control the way people think and feel then you are wrong (hilariously wrong). Capitalism controls the way people thinks by distorting the truth through the media and they also use other ways like institutionalising educational services so they make people believe totally the wrong things about socialism/communsim (a little like yourself).
Long Live Capitalism.
Capitalism does not work. Look at asia, south america, africa. Also, capitalism will collapse because the 'capitalist machine' creates more problems than solutions. Imagine the problems as slime, the more slime the machine shits out without being able to clean itself up, the more problems it has until eventually the machine gets clogged up in its own waste and stops...

No. I don't think so.. government is bad, if I may use vulgar terms such as 'good' and 'bad'. Depending on what exactly you mean by 'socialism', I don't even think it is possible to have a 'socialist government'. Socialism (or more precisely, communism) aims for a classless society. Government is essentialy one group of people (i.e. class) oppressing and exploiting another.
Go to www.anarchism.net for more information on anarchism. Richard D. Freule's essay 'Three Arguments for Anarchy' is excellent.

The way people think/feel is a product of society. Indeed, the way people think/feel, in all diversity is society, or at least a part of it. So the above statement would amount to saying 'society is not society', which is ridiculous.
