OK, just wondering of this is for real. A friend of mine sayed that the US was boycotting the French by way of changing the name of "french fries" to "freedom fries". Is this for real? Plz tell me no because this, I think, would top the list of stupid things the US does.

one resturaunt in New York has done this. It is a stupid idea that a bunch of "patriotic" resturaunts will now follow.

I already made a thread on this. France and Germany have seen the affects of war first handand England too. America has sat high and dry until 9-11 and look who is pushing for war the most americans. It also makes me mad how W dismisses the protesters.

In Canada we are told the American one inspired the French one...I bet it is even more like htis in The States. Anyways wasn't the French Revolution 20 years after the American one?

It was, but its a balancing thing.

The creators of the constitution took ideas from Locke, Rousseau, and others. Most American ideas came from French, it just took the French a bit longer before they revolted...

And remember, they are cowards, if the US didnt do it first, they probably wouldnt have, they were given hope that "somebody won, maybe we can too."

hmm, i thought sign language was basically universal. Or maybe my ignorance is just showing again.

Hmm, nice signature, but i like the adapted form that Kain uses in Command and Conquer.

Yes, American traitors!

The French help them, the ruling rich class, and then America helps the French to cause mass genocide on those who helped them.

Ya right, like any real capitalist with their propelling drive for money and luxury would actually turn away BMW, or even a VW for that matter.

Ahem "The French help them, the ruling rich class, and then America helps the French to cause mass genocide on those who helped them"

Are you talking about the 4 years of terror the French Bourgeoisie preformed on the French Aristocracy? Why do people always bring that up while ignoring the 400 years of terror the French Aristocracy indiscrimanately preformed on the French Bourgeoisie and Proletairaits!
