The further use of extreme force (operation rainbow) By the I.D.F. (Isreali Defense Force) has further fueled the flames of revolution in the occupied territories has led to an increasing number of recruits flocking to join the militaint cause (hamas, P.F.L.P(popular front for the liberation of palistine))

And the extreme force used by the militants has absolutely nothing to do with this  . I believe that supporting sides to this issue will only prolong the conflict. Israelis and Palestinians must agree to peace.

hmm, yes good point, but if you look at the rate of violence from both sides it registers like a perverse score card, one day 2 Israelis dead, 87 palistinians dead (during the al-aqsa intifada) \. andthat is the case of Israeli 'reprisals' and you will see that "an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind" as Ghandi so eloquently put it.

Sure, but that's only one offensive. Overall, the Palestinian-Israeli death toll is 4 to 1.

Either way, the Israelis need to look at alternative solutions rather than just bombing Palestinian militant leaders or invading a densely populated Palestinian settlement. Through these tactics, they are simply pushing people towards Hamas and the other militant groups and increasing the sympathy that these groups are able to attain. Therefore, Israel definitely needs to look at more peaceful solutions rather than trying to continue this cycle. One possiblity is to help the Palestinian unemployment and poverty issues rather than building a huge wall to separate themselves.

So you support a two state solution. This seems to be the only viable option.

Wait a second? What is with the zionist attitude? You support the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine? You have to be kidding me! What happen to fighting imperialism? Israel is a army with a state! Not a state with an army. Their entire pressence in the region is illegal! Don't get me wrong I'm not against the Jewish people themselves living in Palestine I think everyone is entitled to live wherever they choose, its the "Jewish State" that I have a problem with.

I don't like Israel either. I merely pointed out that a two state solution is the only viable solution. There is no way (like it or not) that Israel will be destroyed and forced off their land. I support a return to the pre-67 boarders also, but even this seems not all that plausible, unless the politcal climate in Israel and the US does a complete 180.

Peace will only come when there is justice for the Palestinians.

This means a complete end to the illegal occupation.
