Steven Harper plans tax breaks for kids in sports

I read this today in the paper! :o
He plans to give a tax break for parents who have kids in sports!
I am not in favor of this at all! Think about it, there are children in Canada who go hungry, who clothes and school supplies.

1) He's just appealing to the Canadian working class' want for a better position on the hampster wheel of consuption. Most people can't afford for their kids' to join and compete in an ice hockey leauge. Plus sports help instill nationalism.
