The text is in Spanish, sorry. But it says (briefly) something like this:
"...Ruckauf: Argentina will not participate in a war against Iraq
Buenos Aires, Feb, 19 (Télam). Ministry of Foreign Affairs Carlos Ruckauf assured that Argentina will not participate neither in a "unilateral war nor an UN authorized war".
He aslo stated that in the event of a bombing to Iraq, the country will collaborate with "humanitarian assistance".
"Argentina will not send troops to a war against Iraq because we do not agree with the Iraqi people suffering a war besides a dictador", remarked Ruckauf during a press conference at the Government house. (Télam)..."
So, depsite Argentina officially does not support Saddam, it will for sure NOT suppoort a war, no matter how "authorized" it will be.
