I'm not sure that you really know waht fascism is. Here is a brief defintion courtesy of thefreedictionary.com

fas·cism
n.
1. often Fascism
a. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
b. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
2. Oppressive, dictatorial control.

That is clearly something we do not want. Many of the injustices in our our current system are linked to fascism in one way or another. We want power in the hands of the people, not a single party or dictator. Fascism is bad, we do not support it.

I think this definition is lacking some of the most important points.

That defenition is more commenting about dictatorships in general, Facism is a very unique political movement that was extreemly dangerous because it filled the same role as a revolutionary movement.

Although funded byt eh ruling class, unlike a simple military dictatorship, Facist parties were based on mass recruitment often attracting large levels of the working class through the use of far left politics and tactics. The National Socialist (NAZI) Party had a large element of stormtroopers, ther Brownshirts, who came from working class areas.
They were even lead by a gay socialist.

Now once the Party had secured itself and was ready to take power they eliminated "troublesome" elements. eleminating the brownshirts, killing their lesdership(this was called the night of the long knives) and absorbing the rank and file membership into the party under more bourgeoise leadership.

An important aspect of fighting facism is in Labour and community organizing because facist tend to recriut from the same neighborhoods as us. We must stear people away from race based analysis( the Nazis equated the Jews with the ruling class) and towards one that is class based. So in this Yes, organizing aginst current injustices in the system is at the same time fighting facism.

We must Also be prepared to physically confront facists whereever they go.
Hitler himself admitted that if his enemies would have physically crushed the nazi party while it was the small this was the only way they could have been stopped.

Revolutionary antifacism is a large and developed movemnt and I encourage you all to get involved in these organizations
