Let's hope this statistics is somewhat right. :)

In 1981 77% had large trust in the representative government system.

In 1991 12% had large trust in the representative government system.

Taken from "Norsk monitor"

Unfortunately it didn't match very much with what I found at www.ssb.no

Here (http://www.ssb.no/emner/00/02/30/sosind/tab-2005-09-27-16.html)

In 1981 82.0 % voted in the election.

In 1993 75.8 % voted in the election. (although unfortunately up on 83,2 in 1989)

We doesn't go above 80% after that fortunately and the last result we got is 75.5 in 2001.

But what I hope is true about the polls by "Norsk monitoring" is that norwegian people has lost trust in parliamentary politics, that people doesn't believe in them although they still take the minor effort to vote in them. Most of the people believes that it doesn't matter to any large deegre.'

All the statistics are in Norway by the way.
