I know much about Communism and what it is but there are some parts of it that I can not grasp my knowledge around. Such as how laws would be ratified and others. I have read the Communism Manifesto and read these boards very often. But I just need some help understanding as much as possible. I have also read the FAQs in the learning section. Can someone please describe Communism in depth in layman's terms.

Communism is best described as stateless, classless, ultra-democratic society with highly developed means of production sufficient enough to keep society away from exploitative forms of production. In communism one has to work to fullfill his needs, his reasonable wishes and to reach his personal self-actualization.

Well, there wouldn't be "laws" in the same way that we have now. Shortly after the working class takes power, we'll have to have collective community and workplace meetings very frequently (there'll be a lot of things to work out). No doubt some of these meetings would be dedicated to establishing what is and is not allowed in the community. There really wouldn't be much to whatever document comes out of that, as a lot more would be allowed than is now (drugs, for example) and other things wouldn't even be relevant (property laws, marriage laws, civil suits, etc).
