If he wins by force, however, it would set a terrible precedent, not only for Bolivia but for all of Latin America.
Fuck this liberal asshole.
Don't get to excited about Morales either; anyone who calls off a popular workers, peasants, and Indian rebellion with a legitimate chance of seizing power in order to get themselves elected president is no revolutionary.

^There are no perfect movements. I dont fancy about a perfect movement--I want there to be more movements all over the world. Afterall, that's what really counts.

It depends what kind of "movements" they are.
Like I said, the oppressed of Bolivia had a real chance of seizing power. The slogans being raised by the people were "workers to power" not "Morales to power". They were sold out, bottom line.
There are still alot of people holding out. I can't remember the name of one of the major unions off hand, but it has said that it wants the workers, peasants, and Indians to seize power, not Morales "in their name". Hopefully they'll be able to get something going again, though the situation has limited their chances; at least for now.
