I'm new here and was wondering what all your beliefs are about the fight for justice, and what would have to happen to be victorious.

For me, the fight is against the exploitation and oppression of other human beings. I am probably not very extreme in my beliefs compared with some of you, for example i don't care as much about the enviroment, or fox hunting, i'm not a vegatarian etc. I agree these are problems, but not the most important ones. However i am probably quite extreme compared with some of you when it comes to what i'm willing to do to see victory.

I believe the end of capatilism would require violence, however, at this point i don't think violence is needed in the western states yet, i have no desire to go out and get in a fight with the police. Revolution is needed in oppressed countries and i can't wait for the day that happens, but in the western states we should be supporting these revolutions, through propaganda and by showing our fellow citizens why revolution is neccasary, persuading them the revolutionaries are freedom fighters, rather than thugs and criminals.

Obviously the time will come when violence is needed in the west, there will come a point where the US and it's puppets decide to invade the oppressed countries to quash the popular uprising, then we must bring the battle to their doorstep. But until then i think the best action in these countries is to gain support for the cause and let people see the crimes and murders and theft their countries are commiting around the world.

i think your views are quite in sync with many people on this forum. a lot of people here deprioritise environmental issues and issues of animal liberation. there aren't a large number of vegetarians here either, i think theres a poll in the 'science and the environment' forum if youre interested in knowing the stats :)

most people here also support violent revolutions. pacifism is generally looked down on. however i think many would agree that violence is required just as much in 'first world countries' as they're fucked up as well... when, though, is something which is debated.

anyways, welcome to the forum! :) i hope you stay to sus out what other peoples opinions are on these issues ;)

yes mate i agree violence is required in 1st world countries. but that will be the final battle IMO. and like guevara said, if the rest of the world has violent revolutions, the last country to fall may be done peacefully.
