Dear comrades;

I am intrigued by the site and the academic astuteness of those involved . I am just a learner of theory--am not versed enough--but I enjoy learning.I am going to be teaching an intro to socialism course in January to high school students who are really excited about learning all there is to learn. We may even have access to a computer room so that I could have them log onto the site and learn about world current events and tune in to the discussion that is on the site. I am asking anyone out there who reads this to help me if they have access o r know links that could provide me with low-cost or free materials and resources for my class. My username is ernesto and my home e-mail address is [email protected] school e-mail address is [email protected] Thank you

http://marxists.org/ would be the best resource for a class. TONS of free Marxist/Socialist literature in various languages.

Is this an explicitly socialist class? No communism or anarchism?

it's not free, but look around for the comic-style book "Marx for Beginners" by Rius. very good intro.

Albert Einstein's essay, "Why Socialism?" is another good intro. this one is free :)
