Just looking for some good books, here is what I am interest in and not interested it.

Interested -
Biographies of people that actually ment something with an interesting life (example: Malcom X, Che)
Americas Imperial Ambitions (Already read Chomskys book)
Real events that happen (Something on Showdown in Seatle wouldn't seem that bad)

Not Interested -
Marxism, Leninism, Trosky writings - I have read most and read mostly what I have wanted to read already.

Revolutionary Suicide by Huey P. Newton is one of my favorites

Inside the Resistance: The Iraqi Insurgency and the future of the Middle East by Zaki Chehab

I would also read books on such famous Native American figures such as Cochise, Sitting Bull, Geronimo, and Crazy Horse

Revolutionary Suicide is tough to find. Although you may be lucky and find it at a used book store or some other independent book outlet. If you want other Panther autobio's that are also just as good and easier to find try: Bobby Seale- Seize the Time, George Jackson- Soledad Brother, H. Rap Brown- Die Nigger Die, or Assta Shakur: Assata.

If you can get your hands on Showdown in Desire: The story of the Black Panthers in New Orleans by Orissa Arend, I would reccomend reading it.

Actually I have been wanting to read more about the Black Panthers for some time and I believe that will be my next venture.

I am currently reading "The Gates of Injustice'. It is about prison life and all things prison from what little I have read from it so far, and so far it is a great read.

"Ho Chi Minh: A Life" is one of the best biographies I've ever read, and it's about as non-anti-communist as you can get from a mainstream author.

Great read.

If you want good books on the Black Panther, 2 I would STRONGLY recommend are:

1.) Soul on Ice - Bobby Seale
2.) The Shadow of the Panther - Hugh Pearson

Hugh Pearson recently died in August, but his book stands for itself. It's an amazing account for the BPP movement.
