"Mitchell might find what Fidel Castro planned for Manhattan on the Friday after Thanksgiving 1962, equally fascinating. On Nov. 17, 1962, J. Edgar Hoovers' FBI cracked a terrorist plot (though the term "terrorist" was not used at the time) by Castro-Cuban agents that targeted Macy's, Gimbel's, Bloomindales and Manhattan's Grand Central Station with a dozen incendiary devices and 500 kilos of TNT. The holocaust was set to go off the following week, the day after Thanksgiving"
Does any1 know if this is true or just US propaganda ?

Where's this from?
Highly unlikely to be true. If it was true, we'd still be hearing about it constantly. Instead, those who claim Cuba sponsors terrorism typically use far less dramatic incidents, or simply support to legitimate guerilla groups in Latin America.

Yes, i know wht u r on about WIESTY, you mean wen thy secretly planned to bomb one of there own battleships and put the blame on Cuba so tht thy had a legitamate reason to attack Socialist Cuba, yes that is disgusting, but still Fidel should never stoop to the level the Yankees go to.

The "facts" in books like Fontova's are "ignored by the media", as the article says...because they're not facts at all. If even the big-business media ignores a possible propaganda angle against Cuba, we can certainly do the same.
Here's a fun story about how full of crap the worst right-wing Cuban exiles are. I heard it from somebody who worked in a garment shop in Miami.
New guy gets hired in the shop, fresh off the boat from Cuba. In the breakroom, somebody asks him what kind of work he did before.
New guy says he made underwear. At this point, the old-timers, the people who left Cuba in 1960, start calling him a liar and a communist, and other names.
because everybody knows there's no underwear in Cuba.
