america criticised nato because it couldnt get together and agree to protect turkey which i find a bit odd when it is going behind un backs for a war.
and before anyone says anything i know i am for war but i want full un approval but if some countries are too selfish and concearned about business interest then it should be done anyway.
also how long are they going to use the "we saved your ass in WW2" speach this is playground stuff. they only came in when they were attacked.
i think the bush administration lacks experience and could handle the politics a bit better

I think it could easily be argued that the country initiating the war is doing so out of selfishness and business interests.

BTW: it also destroys their "freedom and democracy", democracy means freedom of your own choice, a choice to fight or not to fight. And what the US is doing now is called threathing and like hawarameen said it's playground talk.

"SO WHAT IF HE HAS WEAPONS"
is it ok if he has weapons so long as he doesnt use them on you???
is it ok if he has done and will continue to use them on the kurds and possibly other coutries??

Doshka maybe right, the US will put a puppet dictator who will keep their country paralyzed so to speak. The country wont make progression, the usa will pay the dictator and the people wont see a penny.

If this debacle of a war plays out to fruition, and King George the Second overthrows Hussein, then his oil grubbing buddies will stake out camp and suck every last drop of black crude out of the desert. Make no mistake… this isn’t about the Iraqi people, stopping terrorism or destroying WoMD. This is about BIG BUSINESS. And that is the ONLY POLOTIC of the Bush administration.

i dont get it, there is just as much double standard here on the bb as in any place. come on, now. we are talking about human beings, not robots. we will not underestimate the hungry mans motive, it is just as stong, stronger even more so, than the others greed and pride. no power in believing lies, only intimidation and fear. true power lies with love. people have value.
i didnt make up the lie of the united states nor do i qualify the u.n. as "united nations"

im sorry i stated my view in a wrong way hawarameen but what i meant was that if the U$ has the right to own and control the use of these weapons completely than so should every country..even saddam. i do hate the bastard but i dont think hes at all worse than most american presidents...not even close. and he hasnt caused the amount of terror and horror that the american presidents have...niether have the americans suffered the torture and strife that the iraqis have lived for the past 13 years on the hands of the americans...therefore bush and his playmates have no right to lay a hand on iraq..even if they do have weapons 'of mass destruction'. by the way, has any of you guys noticed how amazing this Shroyder is?? (the newly elected German chancellor for dummies :P) hes really holding his stand on the no-war in iraq...i doubt france will hold its stands much longer
