Flags I made...

In my on going quest to make more crap in MSPaint, here's some flags I made. They're not DRASTICLY different, as you'll see, but rather variants. Comments, Reccomendations are appariated. I'll translate the Latin in the a later post (yes, I know what it is! I just wanna see if you know what it is.

This, is the orginal flag.

Again, I know the Latin.. I just wanna see if I'm (EDIT: or rather my friend Kate is) right. So, I'm not telling anyone what it means until later.

The arabic says revolution... I think. This was a very early one, so its fairly primitive.

It depends.

For instance, red, black, and green is the flag of Africa and African-Americans.

Green can also have to do with the environment.

Blackie, I like some of your flags.. Very neat designs. I personally enjoy the Red, Green and Black flag.

Marxie, Do you mean my green or his? My green is a circuit board and symbolizes the materal conditions which the revolution can take place now. Blackie's (and even a slight nod in mine) green could be a nod toward the Green party. While I don't support the 'Party" aspect, I do love their devotion to the enviroment. Plus, green on black? That's always cool.

I believe that latin in the flag means "Equally/Likewise secular".. or something of that nature.

And I like that flag the most, save for the wolf.. Actually, I think the flag would be best if no object were in the gears at all.

It should mean "Equal(ity) Forever/Without End" Kind of a double phrase that has many meanings. It could mean people should be equal forever or that equality should be 'without end' and don't stop for things like 'class'.

i like NoXion's flag it does remind me some what of japons rising sun witch it an old flag and not realy used very much anymore but that flag is red and white but with the black it makes it seem like a rebelion against the white and red rising sun. by using anarchist colours. i also realy like the star

Here is a flag one of our comrades did for our issue on the Third Republic. Here is the heraldry legend he sent along with the graphic.


The flag, measuring 1:2, represents all three American revolutions. The First Revolution is represented in the 13 stripes along the fly; the Second Revolution is represented in the concentric circles of yellow stars (which was a common pattern and color used on battle flags during that time); the Third Revolution is represented in the red field that begins at the hoist and extends two-thirds of the way across the standard. The flag has a total of 65 stars. The two concentric circles and corner bursts total 52, representing the existing 50 states, plus the District of Columbia and one other member of the Union to be defined at a later date. The 13 stars in the middle of the concentric circles represent the 13 "Grand Nations" of Native America, which also represents a commitment to returning Native Americans to a central place in North American culture and society.

Since when were there 3 American revolutions? Theres is the first one in the 1770's. Then theres is the Communist revolution that has yet to take place
