Last night I watched on C-SPAN, a speech by the president of France and the president of Russia, the speech was in France. They disscusesed a treaty or some sort of an agreement between France, Germany, and Russia to prevent the war on Iraq from taking place. In their speeches, it was difficult to understand what they planed to do in respect to the war. If anyone has information on this, please let me know.

Nothing will be done to stop Bush. He will invade Iraq, win, and get his oil. You may call this pessimistic and negative, but it is not. This is merely being practical.

Come to think of it, I've changed my mind. YEAH, that oil in Iraq would be quite useful. Import it straight to D.C., dump it inside the whitehouse, dump it inside the capital building, find some matches....yeah it's all coming together now...

bush is just the tip of the iceberg. cheney, ashcroft and rumsfeld, powell are far more dangerous and they're the puppetmasters for bush...bush is too stupid to be a real threat...he's just the mouthpiece. The problem is that all the puppetmasters are deeply entrenched in corporate america. First the corporations and multinationals need to go then the leaders are powerless.

Rather than spewing leftist rhetoric or throwing empty threats...how about we sit down research about what's going on, research about US Foreign Policy, research about Bush, research Iraq, research what happened in past occasions similar to this one.
Noone sends 150 thousand extra troops to an area and just brings them back. Seems as US foreign policy's habits are spreading national economic/social/political difficulties into international ones. Frankly, I'm not sure what can be done to stop the war on Iraq.
Sorry, I havn't heard of this treaty, but I'll be sure to look up on it.

Nothing can be done to stop the war with Iraq. They've committed enormous ammounts of troops, aircraft carriers, weapons etc. They're going.
As for looking for past histories of US foreign policy, one only has to go back a little ways to the Vietnam era and work up from there. History will definitely repeat itself.
Information on Bush is easily available. His record as governor of Texas is well documented. Molly Ivins has written some excellent books about his tenure in that position.
For info on Cheney, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, one only has to dig as far as the past Republican nightmares of Nixon, Reagan, and Bush 1.

What about trying to make him read the info contained in this site?
http://www.citiesforpeace.org/
Will he ever realize what people think about him?

"bush is just the tip of the iceberg. cheney, ashcroft and rumsfeld, powell are far more dangerous and they're the puppetmasters for bush"
TRUE  better shoot them all.
"...bush is too stupid to be a real threat..."
Mainly, that is why he is a real threat.
"The problem is that all the puppetmasters are deeply entrenched in corporate america."
Yes, I guess your absolutely right, and therefore, this should actually be considered a scary threat as well.
It's and explosive combination.... A stupid brainless moron who stands as president of a powerfull nation, backed by powerfull coporations and surrounded by a bunch of scary threaty bloodthirsty guys.
Yes, I wonder if the "First the corporations and multinationals need to go, then the leaders are powerless" statement is achievable, or would have that expected result.
I'm not very optimistic about that...

seriously comrads killing the bastards would be fun but it wouldnt solve our problems at all..and the problem is not bush...its not chaney..its not any ONE of them...its all of them...and killing one or two..as if it were possible to begin with...doesnt help....they will have their war...they will steal more and more...as if they havent taken enough from us...and we cant kill them all..for one thing its impossible..thats what we're here for...well its what i'm here for..to fight, to start...because solutions always start with a dream, an idea, a cause. together we fight and overthrow systems...not kill minor individuals..and remember..they have enough followers...people that they've brainwashed...enough of those to hang us all and forget the whole thing ever happened...we are too few...we need to inform the people of the truth...we need to educate the ignorants first..then we revult...then we create...a world of equality...but we do it right...because corruption is all around us..it is part of us and to fight it we must make a base, a solid foundation without it...hasta la victoria siempre, comrads
