IN LATIN AMERICA LEFTWING PARTY IS GETTIN SUPPORT. HONDURAS's president won election today and he is a socialist wearing hes red shirt as a simbol of socialist. we got Hugo Chavez the head of the spear on the latin american socialist strugle. algentina and brazil president are socialist as well. all latin america had a Revolutionary fever.. this fever was predicted by Che . he said that onces a spark of the revolution start in latin american it will spred like fire. and it is happening with his idiology and our goal of a latinamerica free of USA capitalism . panama new president is a leftwing. and soon the USA will counter attack latin america with an invasion of venuezuela. lucky for us this huge capitalist gov has it hands full with iraq. but once they pulled out venezuela will have all the USA attention . and thats when Lantin America will have to united. the time of the Revolution is near . the time for all of us from latin america europe and asia to unite as brother againt imperialims is in our foot step and with Che. worlds we face a new tomorrow .. Hasta la victoria siempre patria o muerte.

This isn't a revolution, capitalism is alive and well in Honduras and Venezuela and neither leaders has made any significant move in removing it from their society.

Support is being scared to the left. The Americans are trying to bring Latin America into the NAFTA agreement and that scares alot of people.
I dont blame them for being scared America and NAFTA are hideous, and any left wing support is good support. However, the perdicted winners are largely running anti American campaigns and it will protect the people of that region but i would not call it a revolution.

well obiously is not a revolution its on in infancy but the air of revoluction. you dont understand how uptight people used to be in latin america whit the subject of communist. the US anti communist propaganda was very strong during the cold war and even after. now the people opening their eyes and the fever of revolution is in the air. is a reawake of Comunist party and the usa will only take so much of this.. i think this are the perfect ingriedient for a revulionary Salsa.... (Poor worker+opression) x imperial power = Revolution. :-)

I understand bro, and to a previous post I beleive Chavez has done a lot of change for the people of his country. Yes I would never say there is a revolution but there has been significant change, with more money getting to the working class. Chaves is trying to change thingS democratically and hasn't deployed such authoratarian tactics as other leftist leaders had/have, which i personally think is a good thing.

Im gonna go read up on the Honduras situation now
