anyone know any quick ways to make money? post them here.... try to go for a no illegal shit aproach.

You'd be surprised at how well this actually works. You can sometimes work a deal out with the thrift shop that they'll sell you a huge box filled with toys for a dollar. Somehow, there's someone in the world that wants to buy at least one toy in the box for twenty bucks.

that's what i thought too, but turns out if you have an email address at a company or organisation who needed to verify your ID to let you get an email address, its possible. i really wanted to buy this mic [cos it was $349 in the shops and $109 on ebay] but i didnt have a credit card, so i used my uni email address.

even so, that doesnt help much :( if you pay for your own internet [not prepaid] then you usually get an email address. or social security, maybe? im not too sure what other organisations there are that give email addresses... probably not many...

And I'm pretty sure that if you want to actually sell on eBay you need a credit card too.

Otherwise, you could just register a domain name for $9 and make an email address.

The same law applies to the UK, it's still quite widely done though, I think some of the buskers dress like they are homeless (or maybe they are homeless just they own a guitar) so the police dont bother with them, they have no money to be fined.
That or all the people have licenses.

But yeah in New York tons of people do that -- mainly on the trains.. You have to have some sort of a skill and live in area where there are people with money.

You need neither. There are a ton of options that you can have people pay with: paypal, credit, check, money order, etc. Although paypal is the most popular method, you don't need it to start selling.

I haven't done anything on ebay for a while, but when I did sign up for it you didn't need a bank account either. It's easiest to have one, though, since otherwise paying seller fees might be a hassle.

At what rates can you borrow money in the US or Europe?

I can easily lend money at 12% an year here in Brazil. So if you can borrow money at say, 5 or 6% an year, and send it into Brazil without paying prohibitive fees, I would say that it is possible to make profits of about 5 to 6% an year, which we could divide in halves.

oh yeah i just signed up to some site that gives you a domain e-mail address and used that. it doesn't have to be anything specific. it's easy as pie =)

Something I found useful in generating cash is as follows:

- Locate a source of cheap perhaps second hand books such as a library sale or carboot sale.
- buy the ones that are in decent quality
-sell them on amazon.com as used books

I've bought books for literal pennies and gained like a couple of quid for each of them in the past this way. my best sell was buying a book for 5pence and selling it for 10pound :D
