According to AFP, Kissinger declared that if the 200,000 American troops massed in the Middle East went back home without going to war against Irak or before Saddam is removed from power, the "international credibility" of the US would be "affected".
He's right to be worried. With all the wanted signs featuring his name posted all over the world, a Saddam-free Irak may be about the only place to which he could travel outside the US.
