Hey,

Great to be back after long time.

Recently I have been watching some great war movies...

Before this I actually didnt like watching cause it only showed the domination

of the Left by the capital states.

I watched Platoon, Enemy at the gates, The pianist and all of them showed the real picture behind the capital states.

If you guys have watched great movies like Enemy at the gates, please reply..

The Red salute!!!

enemy at the gates was a joke. i love the part where he was like "i wanted to be the manager up on the cat walk, without him the workers would not know what to do". hahahaha, can we get anything more reactionary than that? that doesnt sound very marxist to me.

then there a several parts throughout the movie noteing the characters religious influence, thats not very marxist either. according to the movie the red army was made up of religious capitalists.

Enemy at the Gates was (very) loosely based on the sniper Vasily Zaitsev. You can read the book Stalingrad: Enemy at the Gates, I think that portrays a much more accurate picture. Another great book is Red Road from Stalingrad. It simply shocked me to see what the Red Army standard infantryman went through. I haven't seen too many great war movies, except No Man's Land, which is based on the Bosnian civil war.

greatest war movie: The Longest Day. I guess "This Land is Mine" would be there, but I've watched it again and it just seems like Liberal Democracy propaganda.
