There is a simple way to burn through all armor. Slip some Magnesium into your molotov cocktail. The more, the better.

Magnesium burns hot enough to burn through a car. That will make short work of all riot gear.

I don't think magnesium is THAT reactive. It will burn like a fucker when oxidised though, especially alongside petrol.

Magnesium should work. I have done several experiments with Magnesium, as well as seen it burn through some rather durable (and theoretically flame-retardant) objects.

You can get them in flares for roadside assistance, and grind them up (if the magnesium isnt in a powder).

Warning: I do not know how Magnesium will initially react with gasoline. Do not try unless you have the proper equipment (which I dont).

You could still find a way to spread Magnesium across a large area and ignite it. Two cocktails. The first has your normal ingredients, and the second is filled with Magnesium.

the general weak areas in riot gear are around the neck, sides of the body, not stab or bullet proof, elbows and a couple other places depends on which country/organization.
