I believe that most of the hatred of neoliberalism comes from its emphasis on the growth of business and free movement of capital and labor, without labor standards to protect workers rights.

The Zapatistas say that neoliberalism and free trade represent death for the poor indigenous communities of Mexico. They say that the large multinational corporations threatens the poor farm workers way of life by taking away their land.

These are just some of the criticisms of neoliberalism. There are many more.
