As most of you know March 20th will be the 3rd anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq War. This seems like a prime opportunity to demonstrate against the war and show our 'leaders' that the worlds populations say 'no to war'. Now, my question is: How do we do this? What is to be done?
I beleive International ANSWER has declared March 18-20th as 'Global Days of Action' which means local protests against the war will occur on the 18th, and 19th and then March 20th will be a "Youth & Student Day of Resistance to Imperialism" which basically means students protesting the war and militarization. My question is: is this enough? Will some student protests really demonstrate to the world that we are against the war? Or do we need another September 24th where we had a critical mass of people in DC? It seems like a major protest (im talking hundreds upon hundreds of thousands, which I DO think could be organized) could strike such a massive blow to the administration that it could really shake things up. So I know its a ways off, but what do people think we should do?
