Today I saw a kid at my school with a shirt with a Hammer and Sickle on it, and my heart skipped a beat. Now, how can I support Communism, and yet that symbol makes me woozy. Well, I think the answer is that I've been subverted all my life that the Hammer and Sickle are a bad thing. Well, if any of you guys have any opinions on this, I'd be delighted to hear them!

Well we have been brought up in a society that paints Communism as a "horrible" and "satanic" ideal. But then again, they paint Capitalism as the best and only honest way, so we can't really take their word for it can we?
You're lucky though, you actually have other communists at your school.

He's not a Communist, he's a little punk who just wore the shirt to be angsty.

hehe, high school for me is over, I\'m on my own. Seeing the hammer and sickle and getting woozy is normal. It\'s what the cappies want to happen.

I smile when I see the H&S, whenever it's presented correctly, and not as a part of some fad.
And you know that kids are born into that shit, so if you want to have some other communists around, organize among your fellow students!

Frankly I think it's rather sad that a symbol that represents tens of millions of murders is used as a marketing tool. Would you feel so happy if people were wearing Swastika shirts ? Nope. There are better ways to express your beliefs than to wear that.

I've never got woozy over seeing the H&S, I rejoice everytime I see it and often wear a H&S t-shirt myself :D
