Wondering if anyone has heard of The Blackfire Revelation -- a two piece band, guitarist /vocalist and drummer. The vocalist raised in Japan, the drummer out of Virginia. Heavy on the fuzz. Actually, Heavy is a light word-- it's rather ultra- H-E-A-V-Y distortion. Anyway, they have a nice little riff on their second song "Act like a Believer" and do a pretty interesting cover of the Troggs "I want you Right Now."
The label is Fat Possum, which is an indy Blues label..
What I am wondering-- they were released on Southern Reconstruction Records. I've never heard of it.. but red flags are popping all over the place. However, On the cd cover they state "taking no prisoner's, but if we do, not abusing them.
so, anyone know about Southern Reconstruction Records.
here's clips of the tracks
