Lenin on parliamentary means. What was Lenin's view on gaining workers power via parliament? Can someone please shed some light on this?

No trust in the bourgeois parliment. Yet, he advocated working within the system always maintaning a revolutionary standpoint. That basicaly the government does not have the interest of the workers and the only solution is socialist revolution. Parliment could be used as a vehicle to spread the message.

Lenin's ideas were not reformist. He did not advocate change through parliment nor did he support the bourgeoisie. Thats the differences between the Mensheviks and the Bolsheviks. They both had deputies in the Russian duma. One defended the class war whilst the other vacillitated to the bourgoiesie.
