Barricade is awesome. I know most of the kids in the band. They are playing with union made on Dec.10th at Trappe (about 40 min outside Philly). I'll post the flyer when I get home.

Integrity are about as far away from Oi! as you can get in hardcore.

but seriously, Closure by Integrity is a fucking brilliant album, not exactly hardcore, but I love it.

The Martyr Inside is an awesome song.

Barricade and Union Made are both top-notch outfits! Great hardcore with a message...both have Myspace accounts where you can check out some tunes:

Barricade: http://www.myspace.com/barricade

Union Made: http://www.myspace.com/unionmademtl

And, here's a review of the new Union Made CD:

"Union Made is a new antifascist hardcore band formed out of two older ones out of Montreal, Street Troopers and Fate 2 Hate... Good f--king album, Good f--king band. When you play an album from a band you never heard before three times not just within the day but within a three hour period, as some of us did, this is something folks need to listen to. It is straight up hardcore, the kind of hardcore that you are used to from the NYC bands of yesteryear. That means it's hard - hard as hell. If the progressive political scene approached things with the intensity of this album, there would be no bosses! There are a number of songs that stand out like 'Products' and 'Back it Up', but truth be told, there isn't a crappy song on this thing! In other words, this is a must buy!" (-)

Cheers!
