hey,
i was scouring the internet for some genuine critiscism/praise about communism and Che Guevara in general. I cama across a number of capitalist and 'free-market' oddballs talking about how 'capitalism saves every individual soul.' there was even a website called 'the Capitalist Magazine.' but the most audacious critic i found was without a doubt Dean May. he runs a website called www.deansworld.com I'm sure most of you have checked this out but for those who haven't let me give you a brief summary of his article 'the truth about che-terrorist, murderer, stalinist.' he talks about Guevara's atrocities in Cuba. at one point of time Guevara is referred to as 'murderering pig.' About Fidel murdered thousans of people in Cuba...many more times than Batista.
Till now, i had found some genuinly good points which the individual may ask regarding communism but this guy made me laugh. he introduces himself as a 'conservative liberal' yet a staunch Democrat. He has although no regrets voting for george w. bush in the 2000 elections. also he says that the two biggest idiots in the field of philosophy were Jean-Jacques Rousseau (author of 'The Social Contract', a thinker along with Voltaire inspired the oppressed to think rationally and overthrow the Royal Family.) 'Che Guevara was a murdering pig. If you're an apologist for him, you're an apologist for a murdering pig--and an enemy of human rights'-Dean ES May. He's also posted a link to another rightist 'liberal' web-blog called 'www.babalublog.com'
This site is more of an anti-Guevara, pro-liberal, anti-Chavez blog. But throughout this search of mine, I have observed that most of the people critiscing Communism or Guevara are Americans and are rightist Republicans. A few members were also strong defenders of Jean-Marie le Pen-the far right leader of le front Nationale (a quasi Nazi/Fascist party.) Chavez is simply referred to as 'the Venezualan dictator.' Anyway what d'you guys have to say about this?

In all honesty I do not understand why they classify Che Guevara as a "murderous pig". The only action I can closely relate to even the thought of this would be the firing squads. However, the firing squads were to kill war criminals.

He freed people from capitalism.

And in the eyes of capitalist, he enslaved them with Communism.

So, they think he's a murdering pig because they think the people he killed didn't deserve it. We do.

Well, most of us.

He didnt just free people

yes, he freed them, all by himself. That's a very indivualist outlook, hell che woulda been sad to think people thought of him like that;
'I did not liberate the people, the people liberated tehmselves.'-che
