anyone have any favourite record labels? mine is elefant traks, they're so amazing in their community basedness, and the different artists on the label always collaborate on tracks, are really laidback and produce awesome music. lovin em :D

the herd, urthboy, hermitude, pasobionic, unkle ho, combat wombat...totally cool. :D

Ive heard about Nothing! Lots of great rock and alternative from them! NIN, and the like.

The only record companies I have a certain ethical problem with is Jive and Virgin Records who told my girlfriend to get plastic surgery done in order to get a record deal! ...and she was 14 at the time! Fucking Capitalists!

Well, I suppose it is just a matter if you like the bands that the labels sponsor. Like if two of your favorite bands come from this one label, then you are probably to think that that label are your favorite one..

Well some labels might be known for putting out some quality stuff and if you were looking to experiment on something you hadn't heard you might try something from that label. This would only seem to work for smaller independent labels.
