terrible terrible news to hear. it's people like that that give communism/socialism a bad name. while arguing with a friend the other day he thought what Stalin had was communism, and thats how it is. if word like this spreads it'll be more bad news for socialism.

Something i find ironic is how N. Korea is doing terrible things (remind you they are oil-less) and we're going to go kill Iraqi's without any sufficent evidence (tons of oil)...

I agree, if anyone deserves to be bombed right now it's Kim Jung Il. I'm not worried about his WMD, the rule of Mutual Assured Destruction will prevent him from ever attacking. But I am more concerned about the condition of his slaves ( N. Korea's entire population). They are starved and put in concentration camps if they disagree with him in the slightest degree.
Of course, because he pretends to be a socialist/communist, there would be even more anti-war sentiment from uneducated leftists. For some reason, some people think that anyone who waves a red flag and says "victory to the prolitariat" is considered an authentic communist. ( If I call myself the King of France, does that make me the King Of France?)
I hope Korea can one day be unified and those fake communists will be burned at the stake.

Well after this (which Bush obviously knows about by now) and the admittance of North Korea possessing nuclear weapons it makes me wonder why we're not up their ass with a microscope like we are with Iraq. I personally think they're clean (nuclear weapons-wise), while N. Korea as admitted to having shit. One of the possibilities could be the oil, but they could always get oil from elsewhere.

But these people do not need to be bombed or invaded, goodness no. North Korea needs help with its current status, much like every other country we're threatening. If the US helps these deprived countries I'd have a lot more respect for it. But with them giving Iraq 8 days to comply to their shit I doubt that respect will be given any time soon.
