Hello comrades- this is my first post

I've been watching this forum for a while now and finally decided to become a member.

A little info on me: I was born in Tbilisi, Georgia (the country, not the state) I have lived in Georgia, Russia, Paris, Sweden, Turkey, England, and now America. I have a completely mixed and weird accent because I picked up a little language from all those countries. Through out my entire life I was always taught about communism and revolution by my father who was a Soviet general. It's good to finally become a member of this awesome forum.

Welcome to the forums, try to resist getting an American slur. The rest of the world hates it

Soviet General? That's really cool. What does he think about Russia back then compared to what it is now? :che:

What can I say this forum has +5400 members, the majority of them being people who come for a week than they are never heard from again. How many active members do we have, like 100 maybe 200 if your in a good mood.

ARGH!

Hello to all! I too have recently joined this sight. I have an extremely strong and committed social conscience. I have had the experience of being drafted and sent to Viet Nam along with many other underpriveleged men. I have worked in a system where I've also experienced how classism has controled the agency and have grown to control folks. I am now looking to find folks who believe that people can transform all of the corruption we have grown so accustomed to live with, into something that can be humane and decent. It is difficult to find something that is achievable and real. Our dreams of a better tomorrow can be achieved. Our system divides us and makes us feel impotent. I strongly believe that a collective spirit can help us stay strong and alive and not feel defeated. We have felt the heavy hand of oppression from a system that has stolen our dreams and beliefs.
I now need to connect with the likes of brothers and sisters that believe in the fact that as a people we can again find strength.
