This is an old article from March 28th 2005 but non the less it is important and shocking.

A publicly funded school in Britain is openly refusing to admit the children of atheists or humanists. Other schools are suspected of doing the same, but this is the first school to acknowledge the bigoted policy.

And yet fundie groups like Christian Voice (http://www.christianvoice.org.uk/) have the gall to proclaim that they're being persecuted :rolleyes:

And to think I thought Britain was above this sort of bullshit.

This is the sort of discrimination that Bush would like to see the American government funding.

Absolutely right.

Even if these religious schools admitted atheist students, it would still be outrageous to give them government funds! Considering one of the purposes of any religious school is religious indoctrination.
