Interesting - but dont the RSF admit to taking some money from the US Govt, which has led to their reporting on Cuba being questioned for it's objectivity?

They put Cuba as the second worst country for Journalists last year, which is utter bollocks - even AI recognises that places like Colombia and Saudi Arabia are far more repressive than Cuba allegedly is.

LoL

If i get this right it's a list of countries where the press is free?

Having Iceland in first place (with the others) is stupid.

Just looke at the Baugur Group trial. All the newspapers are either with the government, or with Baugur Group, shitting all over each other.

And the National TV (RÚV)

If you want to becom a newsreporter on that station, you have to take a test, and on that test you are asked for opinions regarding politics, and they check if you're a part of any Polital Group. If you're not a capitalist you don't get the job. A Woman who's been working on the Radio didn't become a news anchor because her husband was involved in The Icelandic Socialists (VG) and she had be the host of one seminar or something.

Dominican republic #51???

Apparently this is a measure of the "freeness" of the spread of capitalistic ideas.
