The CIA and FBI

Think about it. If any one organization has ever been more detrimental to worldwide workers revolution since the Nazi's, it's been the CIA. They were responsible for the deaths of Malcolm X, most of the Black Panthers, and Che. If revolution is to come, the CIA and FBI will have to be the first to go, otherwise, they could do us like they did the Panthers, and take us out 1 or 2 at a time.

If we were to launch a revolution i'd think that we'd need the mass of the population onside and the workers organization. The cia and fbi are arms of the state, and while they could be weakened it would really take a reovlution to destroy the enemy intelligence service unless they switched sides.

The bad new is that you'll always have counter revolutionary bodies. The good news is that they'll be the first against the wall when the time comes. But what do you expect the CIA/FBI to do? You can expect to see American agents intervening in every revoltion around the world until it reaches the US itself. They're protecting their system without thought as to how corrupt and brutal it is.

This may be straying off-topic (sorry) but what is the difference between the CIA and the FBI? Is it that the CIA are like the super-spies that operate in foreign countries and the FBI are more a strictly-American intelligence gathering/military police type operation? Any help in clearing up my confusion would be much-appreciated.

Also, on the topic; it is fair to say that almost almost every true revolutionary has been brought down by the CIA/FBI (whether by bullet or embarrassment) particularly the Black movement in America and socialism in South America.

Just look at their names

Federal Bureau Of Investiation does just that - Investigates things in America.

Central Intelligence Agency gahters intelligence about other nations and whatnot.

The FBI is, or perhaps was, more of a police organisation. They're supposed to tackle major crimes that occur countrywide (as oppose to within a single state). The closest British equivalent would probably be Scotland Yard.

The FBI is just a national form of a police force. Where the normal state officers are confined to their jurisdiction the FBI's arm reaches across the country.

Now you also have the NSA (National Security Agency), CSS (Central Security Service), and DHS (Department of Homeland Security) .. also don't forget about the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives), SS (Secret Service), USMS (U.S. Marshal's Service), and DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)..

Many of these organizations would be technically illegal according to the constitution; but hey, when has that ever stopped them?

They have been domestic since they were started. They just weren't suppose to be operating domestically up untill the patriot act, which gave them the power to do so.

I know that the NSA handles all the hi-tech stuff... satellites, radio intercepts, computer espionage etc. The CIA used to handle the human intelligence (actual spies) but that’s been outsourced to the new National Clandestine Service (NCS). What that will leave the suits in the CIA doing, I have no idea.

Kind of. The FBI is like a combination of Scotland Yard and Mi5.

The NSA largely intercepts communications from foreign sources and makes sure US communications are not intercepted. The NCS was something formed in the intelligence service overhaul after 9/11. It combines the CIA directorate with the Defense Intelligence Agency, the FBI, as well as the intelligence services from the various military branches and the nSA, in an attempt to better coordinate intelligence information.
