I was having this discussion with a fellow member of a philosophy class I attend. Would you say that quantum mechanic is part of either of the aforementioned schools of thought? I argued that quantum was purely a result of rational thought, as there can be no empirical justification for something taht has not been percieved. Any opinions/answers?

I think you are correct it is a theory like one of there theorys is that if you lean against a wall for a million years you will have a chance of falling through it or something so it has not been seen or perceived its just a theory which makes you right i think.
Sorry for the jumbled reply i gave you. i hope it makes sence.

What grade can you start doing philosophy? Im in grade 8 now my teacher in humanite class has asked philosphical questions to us like when is it right to kill a human being or what should be done with Saddam Hussein but this is mostly ethics questions and not done to often so im not to interested but id like to get into a class more philosophy is talked about more.
