I prononce it bor-jwa-SAY. It's a French word so if you can learn to pronounce French you can pronounce it.

if you're using it as an adjective it's bor-jwa... the j isnt like a j in english though, its a mix of 'j' and 'sh'

me and my friends usually just say 'boujie' though

By the way, now that we are on the subject, how to your pronouce Leon Trosky, Trotskyists and Troskyism?

Is like it "Trot-skee" or "Trot-sky"?

"Bourgeoisie" - Noun - Bore - jwah - zie
"Bourgeois" - Adjective - Bore-jwah

Really, I recomend learning french.

Trotsky, is pronounced like "Trot" and "Ski" - as in the nordic sport.

Well, the bor, is longer than just bor. It's not pronounce like a boar. It's like "boor", "jwa", "zee".

And I'm insulted that anyone would think that the french way to pronounce it ends with "zay".

The only thing different about it in french is the pronounciation of the "r".

, thanks. Now I understand why some say the "R" sound. I actually like how it sounds sans the "R."

I thought it was Sart-treh/trah, it's french ye? It should be pronounced the same as quatre- the same sound over the a-t-r-e.
