On the game splinter cell tom clancy pandora tommorow for ps2 they have a part of the game were you inflitrating the United states embasy in i think Idonesia with the leader of the kidnappers being a guy caled sadamo and at one part you have to find out how much do the kidnappers know so you have to find douglas(hostage) and ask him. The game is about stealth so im hiding under a window but i have to sit still and listen to a conversation between a soldier it appears and a leader that commands that soldier giving info well that leader they modeled one of the kidnappers after che he had the burret sideburns and a kind of mousey look that i saw in one of ches pictures. there making che of as a kidnapper in the game.
Or did i see the characters appearnce wrong but it looked like che.

Gary Brecher once wrote a delicious little piece about Tom Clancy here (http://www.exile.ru/2002-May-16/war_nerd.html).

That article was fucking deranged.

You know how far that kind of money would go in a place like that? You could not only buy your own army, you could buy your own slaves. Yeah: slaves. They have'em. They may not be the cutest girls in the world, but they're thin at least and they have a good attitude: trained to submit. Ritual scarification. You could have your pick from every village. They'd be honored. "At your service!" No age or consent problems either. Brand 'em so they don't go astray.

She might have a bit of an attitude in the beginning, but those things can be changed. People in the 'Stans know how to fix a bad attitude. A week in the dungeons and she'll crawl to you and beg to be of service.

So you buy some MBTs, some artillery, go in and just wipe out one of the local clans. That'll get the locals' attention. They love a winner.

A war like that is just a big pyramid scheme: you take a village and distribute the loot and the women to your men. Then you round up all the surviving men and boys from that village and offer them a simple choice: join us and be reimbursed with the loot and women from the next village we take, or die right now. It's a very effective sales pitch. Repeat until the whole Steppe is yours

I don't think this kind of shit should be posted here.

In Ghost Recon, the story is that radical untra-nationalists seize power....nothing to do with "us commies". Yes its true they re-unify the former members-countries of the USSR, but NOT in the name of Communism....ultra-nationalists are RIGHT WING!!!! <_<

That's putting it mildly. I've no idea who this Brecher is but he seems to bear a personal grudge against Clancy.

You never know these days. The Russian Communist Party strikes a pretty nationalist tone these days and I've no idea just what the National Bolsheviks are.

Save yourself some time and do a search of the forum. There's been dozens of threads on this.

That's true comrade. A little bit of research in this site should clear that problem.

I wanted to add something though. The bad guy in Escape From L.A (I think the name is Cuervo Jones), looks so much like Che that it's not even funny. My brother told me aboout the Splinter Cell Che and I was amazed when I saw it later. There was an old game for the Atari made in Asia (Japan or China) which depicts the guerrilla struggle in Cuba. You can use two characters, one that looks like Che and the other looks like Fidel. This game was made with the purpose of depicting them. If you guys want to check it, go here: Guerrilla War (http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=481)
