I thought this was a really interesting article (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20051014.wxcanna1014/BNStory/specialScienceandHealth/).
The only problem is that it needs to be administered in higer doesages, which most pot smokers don't get. Whats your opinion?

Personally I'm skeptical as the scientific validity of this study. They don't use cannabinol, they administer it intravenously (The effects of drugs can be affected by the way they are edministered)

Not to mention that the rat's reaction to this drug may be idiosyncratic.

I agree to some degree, in the article though, it did say

""Chronic use of marijuana may actually improve learning memory when the new neurons in the hippocampus can mature in two or three months," he added"

I don't believe the reaction would be idiosyncratic to rat's, toxicology test prove that humans react the same way that more than 70% of chemicals tested on rats, but need larger doesages.

As was pointed out in a comment at the bottom, more neurons does not necessarily mean smarter. I think this is a valid point. You're happier though.
