At the Camp for Peace this summer, organised by the Belgian communist organisation COMAC, there was a speaker from the Philippines speaking of his experiences there. I don't really remember much of it though... welcome by the way.

The one that spoke at the Camp was from the National Democratic Front.

Hi there! I'm half-philo. :)

Anyway, there are, or at least were a few Phillipino members here, but Che's Long Lost Daughter is the most active one I know.

If you want progressive music, you can look anywaywhere. For example, just for starters, go to the music forum on this site and look for the bands that are referred to as left-wing.

In regards to you not understanding the layout of this site, what is it exactly that confuses you?

There's the New To It All section that is where new members introduce themselves and ask the more basic questions they have in regards to politics.

The General section is for all political debate on such things as history, current events and theory.

The Action section is for discussion on all the matter of political action people undertake, or even just propaganda for it etc.

The Cultural section refers to the section in which we discuss matters relating to culture, like music and film etc.

There also a Non-political section for off-topic chat, the RL International section for discussion in different languages. A Research section where people can post asking questions in relation to research they are undertaking.

There the RevLeft Member Forum where you can discuss issues about the board itself and how it is managed. And finally there is the Technical Support section whre you can ask questions in relation to technical difficulties you may experience with the board.

Hope that helps. All areas have descriptions underneath their headings anyway. :)
