I don't know if this is strictly political but never mind. It is really for the Australians....
Do we have anyone like this Reverend Billy guy? I read about him in the paper yesterday and I think his form of theatrical political activism is such a brilliant idea.
What he says to people is info that is available if you're looking but people are too sedated by advertising and consumerism (and fear according to a very eloquent Marilyn Manson) so he shoves it in their face and maybe then they will make the effort to find out how their actions affect lives in other countries in such a direct manner.
Anyway, to get to the point, is there a guy like this in Australia, if yes, where is this person, if no, I think we should all get together and start it ourselves, through Resistance or something, or even just independently might be better.
