What do the Finals scenes in Motercycle Diairies mean to you. How do you interpret what is trying to be done here. What emotions or ideas does it stir about in your head.
The Final scenes on a Young ALberto watching CHe fly off, The screen the cuts to black with Ernesto Read parts of his writings. Then it shows all of the people in the movie Che had interaction with or ones who had an impact upon him and who he had an impact upon. The e see the actual Alberto watching the sam plane fly off into the sunset aged and apparently sad.
ALso There is an Interlude with the balc Screen where they state the Ulitimate fate of El CHe.
ALmost like a Moment of silence or remeberence.
Your opnions please thanks!

It just strengthens the point Guevara had made earlier in the movie. That we are one united mestizo race. Note that he showed Hispanics from all branches. You had the white argentinians to the mestizo peruvians.
Also the last scene in which the communist peasant was shown needs no explanation.

The movie was beautiful. There was one scene where Ernesto was in a hammock, and as he was swinging the camera moved with him.
The final scene was great too. I liked how the people just stood still; you could really see the emotion on their faces.

I think the end scene shows how Guevara had now seen the condition of his people and the oppression of capitalism. The shot of Alberto, in my opinion, shows how this is where they parted ways as such, how he went back to be a doctor and though Guevara did this for a little while, their adventure together had been what made Guevara into who he was. The shot of old Alberto watching a plane I think represents of how their adventure, in the long run, was the cause of Guevara's death and that Alberto was left alone now. If you see what I mean.
Thats just how I interpretate it.
Amazing film.

Would have been more amazing if it would have shown his progression into a communist guerrilla and all around hero to the world's oppressed majority.
