"Ricin near Bin pal's home

THE poison factory used to make deadly ricin is just 200 yards from the lair of one of Osama bin Ladens henchmen, it emerged last night.
And police racing against time to smash the terror network fear MORE fanatics may be plotting in the area.
The kitchen-sink lab above a chemist shop in Wood Green High Road, North London, is a two-minute walk from a flat lived in by Mustapha Labsi.
He is suspected of training under al-Qaida leader bin Laden.
Like most of the six men arrested over the ricin plot, Labsi is an Algerian.
Police were last night probing possible links between them and him.
Labsi, 33, was arrested in February 2001 and accused of being involved in a plot to attack a G7 summit in France.
He is being held in Belmarsh Prison, South East London pending an appeal against extradition.
But fears were mounting last night that he had set up a North London terrror cell before being caught.
A police source said last night: The proximity of Labsis former home to the ricin factory is an obvious cause for concern.
Were investigating any possible links between his activites and the men arrested. Its possible that they were part of a wider network operating in the Wood Green area.
Its now a matter of the utmost urgency that we determine whether there are any more members of the cell at large. If there are, they must be stopped.
Labsis one-bedroom ground-floor flat was in terraced Cheshire Road.
Maria Costa, a 34-year-old single mum who lives in the flat above, said last night: I remember a lot of suspicious comings and goings when he lived there.
There were often people staying and he seemed to have a lot of friends from his home country. They were very quiet and kept themselves to themselves.
I had the shock of my life when I found out he was supposed to be a top terrorist. Ever since, Ive always jokingly referred to him as bin Ladens cousin. But Im really worried for me and my four-year-old daughter. Who knows what they got up to? They could have been testing it.
The new tenant at Labsis flat, Rita Kissiedu, 21, said brown envelopes still arrive for him which she returns to sender.
She said: Its very worrying knowing there seems to be terrorist activity in the area.
France accused Labsi of providing forged ID documents and passports for the G7 bomb plot.
He is also alleged to have attended a training camp in Afghanistan with another top bin Laden henchman bombmaker Ahmed Rassam. The pair lived together.
Rassam, said to have plotted to bomb US millennium celebrations, was caught and is due to be sentenced.
TONY Blair last night slapped down Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and insisted he was 100 per cent certain Saddam Hussein will be disarmed.
Mr Straw put the odds of war with Iraq at 60-40 against.
But the PM told MPs: What is certain is Saddam must be disarmed of weapons of mass destruction."
..........................................
This is like the biggest terrorist in Britain plot since the Iranian embassy hosstage situation.
