Hey,

Me name's Kaelin, I live in England, surprisingly (Yorkshire) and I'm not too sure where I fit in in terms of a name for my views. If I state my views would u kindly reply with a few terms I could use to describe myself politically? Cheers. I believe in free speech, free will and the rights for anyone regardless of sexuality, gender, race etc. I inherently reject any and all authority and believe that everything should be held in common, with no dictator, just everyone ruling in groups by themselves. I also in particular care for the environment and am particularly for the rights of women and gay/lesbian/bisexual people.

By that information, i would say you're an anarchist, specifically (most likely anyway) an anarcho-communist.

Welcome to the board comrade :)

Could we please stop using anarchist and communist using as if they are mutually exclusive. Especially since we have a large anarchist community here. Rather just say marxist or anarchist.

Oh btw, before I forget: welcome to the board!

Yeah, you look like an anarcho-communist. Do a google search for the anarchist FAQ 1.3

Someone clean up this idiots homophobic post.

But I'm not sure if he'd be classified an anarcho-syndicalist at all, I see little to lead me to that conclusion.

Also, about the free speech, etc. for "everyone," you understand that you're including Nazis and the bourgeoisie right?

How was it homophobic (it's a charicature of a charicature people!)? It sounded in jest (ie. deliberately over the top) to me and besides, it (the picture) was damn funny!

How was it homophobic?

On several levels.

First of all for using gay as an insult/"joke", second of all for using stereotypical images of homosexuality, and thirdly for implying that homosexuality was a derogotory state of being comparable to "liberal swine".

it was damn funny!

Really?

What if he had made a racial "joke" instead of a homphobic one?

"you are a liberal swine and most likely black" (followed by a demeaning caricature of African-Americans)

Tell me, do you still find that funny?

OK, I am not getting into a debate with a "revolutionary" over political correctness - maybe Rasta Sapien is homophobic but I doubt it - he seemed to purposefully go over the top, putting a bunch of dancing poodles together isn't going to actually offend homosexuals is it? If someone did a bunch of leprachaun's called 'Paddy' falling over drunk I would laugh at the stupidity, not get my knickers in a twist

First off, Rasta Sapien has a long history of homophobia here, so this is just the final straw, he is now restricted pending further action.

We have a zero tolerance policy towards homophobia, sexism and racism here.

He will most likely be banned now, I know I certainly will vote for that.

Second, this was doubly offensive, as it was an attack on a new member and thus tarnishes this site even more.

I didn't know this and I said as much in my original post.

Do I get a vote as well?

I believe over the top PC-ness also tarnishes this site

Anyway, HELLO Kaelin! Welcome to Revleft, post much & prosper!

I'd say either communist or anarchist, depending on your view on a revolution, as someone else already stated (which means I'm actually just repeating someone elses opinion <_< ) Welcome anyway
