I saw this movie..a Beautiful Mind what's a movie about the mathematician John F. Nash...

In one scene you see that Nash is sitting at this bar with some friends..
A little later there walk in 5 girls.. 4 burnettes and 1 blonde...
All of the guys want to get the blond because she is the prettyst off al the girls..
But nash says.. if we all go for the blond we get in each others way and block our selves... Then we go for her friends...but they don't want us because they are second choise..
(So this means that the blond knows that she is the pretiest and can do anything with any guys)
But what if no one goes for the blond.. and block her and all go for her friends.
That's the only way we all win!

Right the moment i saw this i imaginde the blond as America...Her friends were some other Western Countries...and the four friends were Russia,China and some other eastern countries...
At the moment America knows that she is the pretiest (the most powerfull) she can do allmoste everything.

But what if the eastern countries stop there economic handelings with america..but not with the european countries...
America will suffer then..

I know it's not the most realistic thing but........
What do you guys think about this??

PS: sorry for my bad English

Excuse the pun.

China's refusal would be pretty detrimental. I bet one out of every three things you own was manufactured there.

However, America is the bastion of imperialism right now. Our military budget surpasses that of all the major industrial countries combined. On top of that, our exclusive control over the WTO, IMF and World Bank can definetely exert a bunch of pressure on international economics.

America might "suffer" but it would just delegate the suffering to somebody else further on down the line. It would be awhile before the bulk of working/middle class would be severly affected.
