MASSIVE strike in India

According to a Chinese news source there is a GINORMOUS strike going on in India (a nation already of strong Marxist presence). According to the news I read there are 40 MILLION people participating in it nationwide! :o They are protesting against India's privatization policies. Many government agencies got shut down as the result of the protest.
Just did a search online in English and couldnt manage to find anything that confirms it.

But just wanted to tell u guys cause the number is so huge!

ahh! here is a related article...except that its a bit old. it talks about the preparation of the strike...the strike is actually in motion already.
